Our Design and Install Process
Creating a space for your family or community to gather, interact, have fun, get outdoors, and get some exercise through building an outdoor court may seem a little daunting or be really exciting. Either way we are here to make this design and install process easy and worry free.
Reach Out To Us
Once you’re ready to start this process give us a call or fill out your info on our Estimate or Contact us page. This call will be pretty simple. We will see what type of sport or sports you are wanting to play on this court, ask you to spend some time before our first meeting to see what colors and custom features you’d like, and set up a time to come do an onsite inspection of your playing surface and do an initial design and install consult with you.
Onsite Inspection
Before we start our design and install process we will perform an onsite inspection of your newly constructed play surface or your existing surface that is in need of repair and resurfacing. We will do some quick measurements to confirm the size of the court. If it’s a new surface, we will check and see if the surface is rough or smooth and look at the integrity of the pad.
We need a rough surface to provide a good grip for our court surfacing products to properly adhere and provide the best surface possible. If the court needs to be resurfaced, we will measure the cracks to determine the length, depth and width. We will see if there is flaking or areas where the previous coatings are coming apart from the concrete or asphalt. Are there weeds or vegetation growing through the cracks? Our end goal is to see if the court surface can be patched and repaired and provide an accurate assessment of the work that will be required for your design and install.
Consultation
Once we have completed the inspection we prefer to sit down with you face to face and understand your vision and expectations for this project from color selections to court design and layout. We will then go over your options with this project and what we can do for your design and install process:
- Custom graphics or logos
- Net Posts & Sleeves
- Nets (Tennis & Pickleball)
- Fencing & Windscreens
- Backboards & Posts (Basketball)
- Lighting
- Colors
Based on our conversation, we will be able to give you a proposal on the cost of the project. Our goal at this point is to answer all your questions, discuss the proposal, and then we both sign the agreement to contract our services. As part of our agreement, we do require a 50% deposit and the other 50% once the project is completed. We will then set a date to start the project.
Installation
Depending on the project installation process, new court surface or repair and court resurface, it will be a little different.
Warranty
Our promise in the agreement we both sign to contract our services will be to provide you with best of industry practices for installation and a quality product. We give a one-year warranty on adhesion of the product, meaning if the court surface flakes or peels within that one year, we will fix it at no cost to you.
